When I left high school in 1967, I went into the banking industry and after some years decided that it was not for me. I looked towards the public sector and found it much more to my liking. I have worked in a number of agencies that include Housing, Forestry, Education, Resources Development, Treasury, Prisons, Curriculum Council and the Electoral Commission. I retired in October 2005.
I have many competencies that include workplace assessment and training; team management; workforce analysis; project management; communication skills; contract management; financial analysis; administrative services; information technology; executive support; committees; election management and marketing.
I enjoyed a varied academic life that included a Diploma in Accounting, Bachelor of Business Degree (Marketing and Management) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business (Human Resource Stream). I am also a qualified trainer.
